eighth theme: candids
due by: sunday, september 13, 2009*
*please note that if all photos are submitted before the due date, we will begin the next contest as soon as possible with the next due date still being the following sunday
quick tip: Candids are unposed and not exactly the easiest to capture. It’s only natural for a person to throw in a quick smile when a camera is in front of them. Tips for taking candids? 1) Bring your camera everywhere. This way you’ll be ready for any opportunity to snap a photo. 2) Use a long zoom & turn off the flash. 3) Switch your camera to continuous shooting mode. It will take photos continuously and you will sometimes get some surprising and spontaneous shots that you’d have never gotten if you shot just one. 4) Photograph people doing things or two or more people together. It makes for a more interested photo!

yeyeye, best camera company ever :) aw, oh my god that sucks. my little sister just had to take a gazillion pictures on it with her friends and managed to drop it. the lense cracked and everything. so i feel your pain :)
and leaving the country!? do tell. and i have an itouch :) i got it free with the new macbook its a really good deal!
