This Is Me, And It's All You're Going To Get, Like It Or Not.

Be serious when the situation calls for it
But be crazy any other time.
See money as an accessory
And love as a necessity.
Laugh like you see everything as funny
But cry when you can't.
When you have regrets, you fix them
Or forget them if you can't.
When people decide to walk out on your life
You wave them goodbye
And find people who won't.

Please return on both of my entries if you haven't already.

Today In History: In 1862, slavery was abolished in the U.S. territories. Ironically in 1964, the Civil Rights Act of 1964 was passed. This right outlawed segregation in all public places including schools and started the Equal Employment Oppurtunity program to ensure jobs without discrimination of sex or race. Also, in 1953, the Rosenbergs were executed for conspiring to give Russia information on the atomic bomb. They were the first U.S. citizens convicted of espionage and executed during peacetime.

Thanks and have a great day! :)

Please return on both of my entries.

Today In History: Yet another day with alot of significant things happening in history, sorry if this is long. First, in 1812, the U.S. declared war against Britain and it was simply called the War of 1812. During this war, the Star Spangled Banner was written and the White House was burned by the British. Those are just two very cool facts about that war. I really think next time you are bored you should check it out! In 1873, Susan B. Anthony was found guilty for breaking the law by casting a vote in the 1872 presidental election. She was fined $100 but never paid it. And finally, in 1983, Sally Ride became the first woman in space aboard the space shuttle Challenger.

Again, sorry if that is longer than usual, but people seem to like the little facts about "Today's History".

Thanks and have a great day :)

Please return in both entries, especially eyes since I had to start over because it was deleted for no reason.

Today In History there are two things that are very significant. First, in 1885, the Statue of Liberty arrived in New York as a gift from France. In 1928, on this date, Amelia Earhart became the first woman to fly across the Atlantic Ocean.

Thanks and have a great day! :D
