Dance team should be for dancing...I am so tired of running. Girls keep fighting and we have to run for their bad behavior. ugh. I dont need to run anymore. All this dancing and all this running. I am back in a size 2 xxlong jean. idk. :-(

It's Farmers Week at school. I get to wear overalls every day. It's because we play our rivals this week in football and they are considered the city HS and we are considered the country HS. Thursday night we will have a big bonfire out in the field beside the school and everyone drives their trucks and sits in the back. It's alot of fun. Everyone goes 4-wheeling before school and gets their trucks muddy. Just how us country folk do it..haha

This year is just flying by. Gonna be Christmas before we know it. I have a busy week. Gonna sing a solo with the Symphony tomorrow night (they have changed the date three times..ugh) and I have auditions for Suessical on Tuesday. Off to a bonfire with church tonight. Have to talk a boy into dancing with me at the Pep Rally this Friday...not so easy.

I started and finished reading Splendor today. I won't spoil anything for anyone, but will say that it was everything that I had hoped for and more :-)

Went to Columbia today to film a segment for television with my chorus. It will run nationally next month on PBS/ETV. Gonna work at the soup kitchen tomorrow. Busy reading Splendor. LOVE it so far. Laurens show Wizard of Oz opens tonight. She is Dorothy. Gonna go see her Sunday.

Ballgame Friday :-) October 16

I did not get cast. I am too tall. ugh. I thought it would work out because alot of the guys were taller than me, but it is a childrens theatre so when i am standing beside someone in the 3rd grade.....i just stand out. The play was Best Christmas Pageant Ever. That was actually my first play ever. I wanted back then to be Alice but I was too short - lol - now I am too tall. haha. I hadn't tried out for childrens theatre in a few years because of my height but i am on the board now and I have to do at least one show a year. It's wierd having the resume of an adult yet being a tall teen. Having a hard time with theatre casting right now because of the age/height. The adult theatre wants everyone auditioning to be 16. Last year they wanted everyone to be 15. ~~~I just want to scream!!! I think I can get by with being 15 1/2 for Seussical (adult main stage production)but who knows...maybe they wont let me. idk yet. Just have to prepare and hope it works out.(I should note that they have yet to put up a cast list. This is all word of mouth from the stage manager)

Callbacks were tonight. They post the cast list tomorrow but I'll be at the acting competitions. Then I have a home ball game to dance at. Then I am going to a cast sleepover. Then I have an acting workshop all day Sat. Yes....it sounds tiring even talking about it, but it will be lot's of fun.

I'll drop in if I drop by the house :-)

Tues. Oct. 13

I had a last minute audition tonight. Chase had asked me to come and it ended up being a great idea. Over 100 people signed in tonight and they have auditions tomorrow night also. If they cast the group I read with this play will be oustanding. It's a Youth Theatre Christmas play on the main stage at the big theatre here. Find out soon.

I wish Sugarloot would have another "Clique" Contest. Those always have so many people get involved. I wish they would make some "Clique" web shows.

So many singing engagements. Not complaining though. Just wierd so many people are asking and trying to work it all in and school 2. Thank goodness I have an easy schedule this block and I get all my Biology Honors homework done by bell. Dance, voice and singing National Anthem tonight. Check back soon. Going to be busy this weekend with the acting competition.

For all of you volleyball lovers on Sugarloot....My sister and Laurens sister's volleyballs teams played each other in the Peachtree Tournament of Champions today. Laurens sisters team won the first game and my sisters team won the second so they had to play a third game to 16. Laurens sisters team was up 10-1 and my sisters team came from behind and won 16-14. Laurens Sisters team came in 1st in the season and my sisters came in second, but then my sisters team won the end of the year championship tournament so it was very exciting. Great day :-) Savanah's Sweet 16 party is tomorrow night. Can't wait!!

THE PRINCIPAL DID NOT LIKE OUR PLAY!!!!!! HE MADE US CHANGE IT AND WE HAVE ANOTHER SHOW TONIGHT AND COMPETITION NEXT WEEK. The play is kinda on the "Degrassi" side. It covers alot of topics. He said we went too far. And finally I was in a play with lots of Dramaaaaaaa hahahaha. Tell ya more after I see how tonight goes. It's gonna be a work in progress now. We've been working on this what two months. Ugh!!!

UPDATE ON PLAY: It went wonderfully. They had to bring in extra seating because of such a large turnout. People still kept coming and ended up having to stand at the back and in the doorway.

At least for today I will show a pic of Chase. He is wonderfully talented. You dont find many guys able to act, sing, and dance with what I call "Kennedy" good looks. I don't want him getting a big head, but I'll brag on him this one time.


My school play is tonight and tomorrow night. (kissing play) We take it to state competition next week. I wont go to dance because they overlap and I need to come home for a bit and get ready.

I love how someone has spent the last 24 hours working to downvote my talent entry. I could care less whomever you are. You are waisting your time. I wont be working that contest. There are several people I'd like to see win that contest and it is of no importance to me. Have fun :-)

I kinda figured this morning when I saw entries could still be uploaded into the contest that BFF would not end today.

Regardless the outcome I have had fun sharing this contest with Lauren. I don't think any other entry has had both girls on voting. Not that I am aware. I'm glad she has spent more time on Sugarloot with me. We are besties now & 4evr and I hope she gets involved in another contest again :-)

We both will be auditioning for a main stage theatre production of Seussical the Musical in a few weeks. I hope we get to be Bird Girls together. Crossing fingers!!!!

I've had the worst time getting my video submitted today. ugh. idk. Had a solo audition tonight. Find out tomorrow. The performance is tomorrow night. No preparation what-so-ev. They asked who knew the song which is latin and only two of us girls in my school did (or wanted to raise their hands lol). No rehearsals. No practice. We were asked to sing today on stage during the rehearsal for the performance. She is a senior so I would understand her getting the song. She messed up a few times. I didn't. It was my recital piece a few years ago. Interesting day. Off to tomorrow. I will post the youtube video on my profile if I never get it uploaded to sugarloot. Trying a few more times, and then I just can't devote anymore time to it :-(

Worked on my video today. Wow the voting in Talent is all over the place. Comparing it to the singing contest last Christmas, it makes no sense. With less than 20 people in the contest this far you should not get but maybe a few downvotes in a day. Why would someone in another contest downvote you? So why are the scores dropping? idk. Seems someone enjoys playing around with the numbers alot lately on all the contests.

anyhoooo spent the afternoon with Lauren and she went to church with me. Look for my talent entry tomorrow. OMG a heads up so you can downvote me 2. lol. hahahahahahahah

Lauren is over staying the night. We have to be at school early to run through our dance for the Pep Rally one more time on the gym floor. Which is kinda crazy since tomorrow is dress up day. ugh. Gonna get all dressed up to go to school and have to dance. My dress is short and I'm wearing heels so hopefully we'll only be doing the movement haha. Homecoming is tomorrow night.
I am gonna enter talent but not tomorrow like I had planned. I'm having some second thoughts. I'll enter something, but I dont think it will be anything serious due to how the contest is going.

Regarding Talent Contest: Addition to Sunday

Part of being a performer is just enjoying sharing your talent with others. I don't care about the prize. In a weird way I almost felt a bit of relief that is wasn't some huge contest we were all gonna loose our minds over. I am just excited to make a video and share it with everyone. Thats what I was looking forward to anyway. That and seeing YOURS. I hope everyone still enters. Make it more about sharing yourself and your talents with your friends here on Sugarloot. Thats whats important anyway.

It did rain a little but I still sang twice today. So cloudy. Makes you feel like you have a cold when you don't. Gonna go see my cousin in the play Heidi tonight. Her first stage performance. She caught the bug from me. Gotta go show some luv. How Many of you read Lisi Harrisons Alpha's that came out a few weeks ago? I did. Do you think maybe the talent contest will be about that book? Friday Sept. 18

Me and Lauren had breakfast with the baseball guys again. Gonna have ice-cream with them this afternoon and then work on a dance for next weeks pep rally. I suggested a song to Lauren and when we ran it by the Dance Team Director she told us to come up with a dance. sooooooo. Lauren and I have got to get busy. :-)

It's raining so not sure if I will be singing the National Anthem tomorrow at the football games or not.

I always said Private was the funnest (most fun if we are watching our english lol) contest ever on Sugarloot. Clique was cool but the downvoting was just horrid. In Private it was inspiring to see everyones videos and how important it was to them. It felt good voting all my Sugarloot friends trying to keep their scores high. I hope the same group of girls enters the Talent Contest next week. We had so much fun in the contest together. Just a great bunch of girls.

Gossip Girls new season starts tonight. Whats even more exciting is the new Gossip girl clothing line by Anna Sui came out at Target yesterday and it sold out in 24 hours. All the dresses 4 sure. No Targets in SC got any of them so I was so mad. My SWEEEEEEEEEET Aunt Charme got in the car and drove to a few Targets in NC and finally found one that was lucky enought to get a shipment. I got three dresses. I cannot tell you how happy I am. They are beautiful. If you can find any...get them. They wont be there long. Hours maybe. This stuff is selling out fast. Love it!!!!!!!

Guess who invited me (and Lauren) to breakfast this morning? A group of guys on the baseball team. haha. Must have been all that kissing they witnessed. lol.

I am staying over at Laurens tonight. Going to the theatre with her for rehearsals tomorrow.

I have been thinking about Fashion Week in NY all day today. I wish I was there. IDK why. so wierd. I just do. I tried to order one of the Fashion Night Out NY t-shirts online but could not find any stores selling online even off the official website. ugh. Not meant to b :-(

I Pre-ordered my copy of the Glee Soundtrack today!!!

We ran through the kissing scene today over and over in the hallways. Which is kinda wierd seeing as kissing is not allowed at school. The baseball players came walking by and here I am kissing away in the halls of the school. The principal walks up and here I am kissing away in the hall. At one point we were practicing right in front of the main office. Nobody said a word. Acting has benefits. I asked my teacher what we were supposed to do if someone said something and she said just to show them the script. I think I'll keep a copy of this script with me for the rest of High School. Ya never know if I might need it again. JK JK JK

I see Rubik's Cube is coming out with a circular "guess that would'nt be Cube". Maybe that will be fun. The designer in me wants them to sell all black cubes with a selection of stickers that enable you to decorate/customize your own cube. I do it already lol.

I wish my school had a GLEE Club :-)

I'm a facebook person. I'm sure many of you are 2. I could go on and on about some things I like about having a facebook and some reasons why I don't. Since starting the "Big Campus" this year I have noticed a certain pattern. Older classmen "boys" will message/chat me asking me this same question. Hey. Do you drink, smoke or like to mess around with boys?Me and my friends got to laughing about it at the lunch table last week. We all keep getting this same message. Did some guy tell all his friends this question worked and so now everyone seems to be approaching girls this way? How lame. Anyhoo. Me and my girls decided from now on to respond back exactly the same way every single time with this answer.No.No.No. I hold myself to very high standards. Maybe after guys keep getting the same response from a bunch of girls they wont be so ignorant in the way they approach girls. :-)

I entered Best Friends Contest today. Lauren was also in the "Most Fashionable Clique" contest with me. She is a bestie 4 life. Love her. Known her since I was 3. I will be voting each day through the Voted for Me option. I give everyone in there a ten. On all entries. Works best that way for me. I know I end up giving downvoters back a ten, but I've just always done it this way. My and Laurens facebook fans will be voting also.

I have friends coming over to play on the lake with me this weekend. Lauren is staying the night Sat night and a group of guys from my biology class are coming over Sunday after church to study for a test and then get on the lake. Has anyone been watching the Private Web Series lately?
I sat down today and went through and watched every one of them back to back. In the beginning it was a whole new concept of entertainment for me so I had to get used to the medium. I really think they did a great job. I think acting on the web shouldn't be judged like acting on screen. You have to capture someones attention in such a quick amount of time and sell your story in such a different manner. It's very interesting to me.
Iv'e enjoyed learning through this whole process.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MORGAN

The best part of today was re-watching the first episode of Glee. That show just warms my heart. Inspires me. I guess I see so much of myself watching it. I don't think I've ever watched a TV show that moves me like Glee does. I look forward to the season.

My chorus teacher at school intimidates me to death. He will come and sit beside me when theres a room of 40 girls and I can't breathe. It takes so much to impress this man. I'm so used to people being immediately taken by me. Regardless if I'm talented this man is gonna force me every day to prove it. I once had a dance teacher the exact same way. It's like you knew she thought you had potential if she constantly beat you down. She wasn't gonna waste her time on someone who would'nt listen and learn. I spent years trying to make her happy and get one nice compliment from her before I figured her out.
It's good to have people like this in your life.

So. I guess I should have blogged this earlier...but what do you say really? We kissed. I was suprised the teacher asked us 2 already. We walked in to class Thursday and she said we might as well start getting our chemistry right. We kiss 7 times during the play. SEVEN. So if we run through the play several times thats alot of kissing.
On to other things...we won the game last night. It got rained out Friday. I worked at the Soup Kitchen from 9-2 yesterday with my church and then had to be at the game at 5. Busy day. Busy weekend. Cookout with ballteam today at the lake.
Lot's of homework.
Update:I am staying home. Not feeling well. I think I caught something yesterday. Going to bed. :-(

The *Guy I have to Kiss* now thinks his desk is forevermore beside me. He went to sit down today and hit me in the head with his folder asking me "Are You Ready Yet?"... I have my first Pep Rally to dance at tomorrow. We are doing a pom routine. We have a high kick dance for tomorrow night's game to the old classic "Let's Groove Tonight" wierd I know

I got a text (while sitting in church tonight) about the cast list for the Drama III production. OMG. I have the part of the romantic lead... which means I have to kiss my best friends x several times. What an interesting night this has been. Dance has been crazy this week learning one dance for the pep rally and another for the halftime show this coming Friday. Got my new costume this week though and I love it. Take a pic when I can.

I got my new phone today. An Alias 2. Love it. Last night I got a call an hour before an event asking to fill in for someone who was sick. ugh. Worked out. Sang in the choir this morning. Time to sit and program my phone :-) Going to ski on the lake with a few friends and show syd my new phone. back later.

Saturday, August 22
Last night was our first home game. We won 20-7 against our rival's. The stands were filled and it was so exciting. During our dance the cd skipped almost 8 beats but we recovered well and hopefully that will be the first and last mishap for us this year. lol. This was my first week of school and I love all my new classes. I already had to audition Thursday for our Drama III performance and that went well. Meeting so many new people. Juggling school/church/friends/converse is gonna take work but I will manage. It's gonna be a great year. One funny thing a senior told me first day of school- We were standing out in the parking lot waiting to go in and she asked me..."Wanna know who the b@tches in this school are? Just look around and they are the girls wearing tableclothes!" It was hilarious. ttyl
