7/26/08 my grandpa and my mom were both diagnosed with cancer, so i will not be able to be doing dailies and things. ill check i every so often, but dont expect me back permanently until september. sorry and thnx for understanding -katie

so saturday july 12 i went to a Jonas Brothers concert [: let me just say that out of the 5,6,or 7 that i've been to, this was by far the greatest (but we had the worst seats i've had). apparently they're filming a 3D jonas brothers movie, and that was it! so there were fireworks, and laser lights, and special effects, ohmygosh it was fantastic. i can't even describe it. some of my favorite parts were
a) their entrance. they came up out of the floor, stepped back onto this platform that carried them up and over (like a ferris wheel) the stage and set them back down while singing That's Just the Way We Roll.
b) idk what song, but joe and kevin played these 6 like snare drums or something that came out of the floor. that wasnt the cool part tho. the cool part was that there was water on the drums, so whenever they hit one it would splash water up and it looked crazy amazing!
c) who doesn't love demi lovato? she's super talented and is better than miley. she played 9 songs to open for them.
d) the jonas brothers new song be be good and lovebug. ahhh i love those songs!
e) when they played When You Look Me In The Eyes, they stepped onto these round platforms just big enough for 1 person (there were 3 platforms) that took them at least 25 feet into the air. then when joe paused to sing the last line, the crowd wouldn't stop screaming for (no exaggeration, i have it on video!) seven minutes. joe and kevin eventually just started ing up it was hilarious.
f) it was a 3 hour concert. who doesnt love 3 hours of the jonas brothers?
g) it was mrs. jonas' birthday, so we got to sing to her [:
h) big rob tripped off the stage during burning up. it wasnt like embarrasing bad so it ended up being really funny
i) they sprayed the front of the crowd with like fireman hoses. it was pretty neat-o
j) when Nick did A Little Bit Longer, they played a video of him talking more in depth about his diabetes, then he talked in person about it too (while playing the piano). and i cried. no joke, i cried. but i wasnt the only one lol a hord of s were crying it was really sad. well, and Nick almost started crying which made me cry harder :\
k) on the drive home, we passed their tour bus on the freeway. i nearly had a seizure screaming :]
l) nick is so gorgeous in person :D
