tale as old as time...
i never thought i could actually grow up to be a princess. of course, isn't that every little girl's dream? but then you get older, and you realize that you have to be something practical, like a nurse, or a teacher, or an important businesswoman. so for years i was fixated on the idea that when i finally grew up, i would have to work a boring job to pay my bills, sitting behind a cubicle for hours and hours on end. as i began to explore my interests and talents, it became clear that this kind of life could never work for me. then i got cast as belle in beauty and the beast, and the thought came to me: i can grow up to be a princess. i can live my childhood dream and do what i love. i can perform and embody a character whose story is so timeless, every generation has its own version of it. and that's when i realized, my dreams are finally coming true.


i recently discovered nylon magazine, and boy do i love it. it has just the right blend of indie style and mainstream action, so you get introduced to new artists and designers, while reading about stars you know and love. check it out at, nylonmag.com.


purple nylons! they're great to wear under a black ruffled skirt and sweater. i pair it with accessories from forever21 and h&m, and i'm ready to stroll the city.


i love my iphone! i couldn't live without it. with all it can do, it seems silly to call it a phone. i use it to watch movies, listen to music, check my email, and play games.


this is my class ring from jostens. i know a lot of people think these are overpriced and just a novelty, which, yes, they can be - but this one in particular cost just over $200. seriously guys, if you get a chance to order and personalize your class ring, do it. it's something you'll hold onto and remember for a long time.
