i cannot believe what this website has come to! winning a contest is no longer what it should be, a recognition of whose entry is best, but has diminished into terms of popularity and constant time devotion. looking through past contest winners, i am appalled by most of them and cannot help but think "why in the world did THIS entry win" when there are obviously better entries in the top ten, twenty, even one hundred entries! rating a person's entry is based on a scale of one to ten, ten being absolutely outstanding and one being unworthy of the contest itself. now when i browse through entries i seldom see an entry that actually and truly deserves a full ten but on this website, tens are passed around like candy on halloween! i personally believe in rating fairly. i give you what i actually think you deserve rather than doing the whole "10 for 10!" scheme which might i add is pathetic! if your entry is truly the best you wouldn't have to beg people to vote for you or devote half of your day to watching over your entry, making sure nobody "unfairly" downvotes it. and all you girls getting into hissy fits about downvoting, get over it! obviously somebody didn't think that your entry deserved to be in the spot it was in so they fixed in! chill out. life DOES actually go on believe it or not. nobody needs to send messages out to all of their fans saying "omg guys this chik totally dwnvoted me every1 vote her 1s!!!1111!!!1!1!!" seriously? let's grow up a little bit people. no they are not out to get you and no they are not trying to ruin your life, you're just taking it that way. anyway thanks for reading. if this message made you think about how low this site has sunken down to, pass it on. maybe eventually it will get through everyone's little heads and a contest can be restored to fulfill its natural purpose.
