5/2/09 - Lazy Bean & Summer-y
Personal- Man! It has sure been a while since I last posted. Sorry for being such a lazy bean. Well, I've been extremely busy. Currently, I am getting uber-stoked for summer and for camp. The camp I am going to(FOR ONE MONTH) has a whole musical program so I'm stoked for that. In addition, it has open mic night every night, so let's just say, my guitar will be accompanying me. :] This camp(located in NY) also has 3 trips into the city so I'm stoked. Imagine what all that humidity will do to my hair! YAY!
In the past few weeks I've been hanging with friends, seeing movies, the usual. Not that anyone cares. Haha. But, I will report on something rather fun:
A few days ago, my class hosted a car wash to raise money for an awesome D.C. field trip we're going on. My friends and I are so stoked! But, the car wash crazy. We got really wet(pervy guys suck, btw) and we had music blasting and pizza to eat. I was exhausted afterwards, but it was worth it. Oh, and while we were advertising on the side of the road, a few cars honked, but one possessed an INSANELY hot guy. xD Jamie and I were happy. Haha.
Ooooh! Did I neglect to mention the insanely fun party I went to. I danced like nuts and Frankie did my hair. It looked nice until I woke up on it the next morning. :(

And on a very sad note, my little sister's best friend passed away last week. She was fighting with Leukemia and I know she is in a better place now. I wrote a song for her called, "Look at the Stars" and I will be performing it soon.

So, another thing: On Thursday, I am performing so I'm really excited! I'll have videos up after that!
I don't have any desire to report on what is going on in Sugarloot Land because it disgusts me.
Sorry.

4/21/09 - Cool Book & Extraordinary Photos.
Personal- So, I'm currently reading an extraordinary book: It is called, The Unwanted and it's by Kien Nguyen. I don't want to give any of it away, so you'll have to check it out. :]
Hmmm, anything else out of the ordinary? Not much, I'm currently working on tweaking a lot of my original songs. :] And a cover song I'm doing right now is called "Winter Song" by Sara Barielles and Ingrid Michealson, which are two of my favorite musicians.
SL Happenings- Currently, I've been noticing a ton of awesome photos, photography, and photoshoots here on Sugarloot. A new favorite of mine is Madeline. Her photos are summed up in only one word: spectacular. Seriously, I think they are currently the best on Sugarloot. Congrats, Mads. :]
A rival for Mads is definately Caprice. She seems to have taken down most of her photos while she has been gone, but you can tell by simply one photo that she's amazing. :]
Another fabulous lady who takes amazing is our very own Mari.

4/20/09 - Teeth, Testing, & Paige
Well, here goes my first little personal/narrative/reporting/opinion/gossip blog. xD
SL Happenings- Rather than reporting drama, I think I'll just stick to opinions on some very cool new stuff. :] For starters, I want to congratulate the ever-so-amazing Charlotte of C-Gossip for returning to gossiping. Blogging, you were great at, Charr, but gossiping is a gift. :] She always was the best gossiper, delivering interesting, entertaining news that I would always look forward to. Something I find very interesting is that she put up an application on her site to have fellow Sugarlooters assist her in reporting gossip. Neat idea. :]
Next, I think one of my very favorite books from the Sugarloot community is The Greatest Ride, by Morgan Blair. The good things about her book are that she bases it all on her love story with her boyfriend, Anthony, she writes effectively and entertainingly, without being tacky or to cutsey, and for a change, she seems to be very real with her writing, and not trying to incorprate strange phrases to make herself seem a better writer. Well, she already is. Haha. :]
Another thing, the recently bashed-on Paige is now in the hospital. :( Please pray for her and leave her a kind message on her profile.
Personal Life- Today was my first day at school back from break. My eyes burned I was so tired. School starts at 8:15 and I didn't even wake up until 7:45!!! Somehow, I got ready in 5 minutes. I'm proud of myself. :]
Oy, help me! Today I went to the orthodontist to get the wires on my braces tightened, and he used some random blade called a shiner to practically saw off some of my canine tooth. My life sucks. I was bleeding and my tooth hurts. So does my whole mouth from the wire tightening. Bla Bla. Good news is though, that my braces are coming off in less than two months! CAN'T FREAKING WAIT!!!
Hmm, Tuesday-Thursday this week, I'm having Stanfords Testing. Hate them. Hate them. Hate them. Hate. Hate. Hate. Whatever, I guess I will manage to live. They're practically fourth grade level anyways...

oooh sorry about the braces being tightened. i had mine done a few weeks ago plus they have this other contraption in my mouth and it kills whenever they tighten it.
