I will not be on for most of the day tomorrow. I have been busy with packing, cleaning, and whatnot since we will be closing on our house Monday so I apologize for my absence. About 15 guys me and Mingo know are going to help us move everything into our new home. It is going to be an all day process so don't expect me to be on until maybe later on that night when I need a breather. We are so stoked! We got to go through the house one more time before closing on Friday and everything is tip top shape. The city installed brand new smoke and carbon monoxide detectors so that is marked off my to do list. Our good friends are throwing us a home warming party this weekend. They already gave us one gift that is waiting at another friends house, a HUGE charcoal grill for Mingo. I was planning on buying one for him for his birthday but they wanted to give him one to barbecue with this weekend since they are moving to Germany soon and said they would miss his cooking. We have a team of people who have offered to help us paint the house, especially the living room that has vaulted ceilings. A few of my girlfriends just gave me season 1 and 2 of Army Wives as one of their home warming gifts. I never expected that as a gift but I have already gotten sucked into the series. Yeah, I'm a sap. We have already met our neighbors, and one of them is a cop. That's a big plus on my list of living in our suburb. Me and Mingo have alot planned to do with the house on Christmas. And, his mother will be visiting for Thanksgiving after she visits my sister in law. I am in the holiday spirit for sure and excited about the next few weeks to finally be with my husband during the holidays. :D
This is a picture of a framed artwork I grew up with. My dad and his four brothers are Vietnam veterans so this hits very close to home for them.

Voted 17 days back today! Please return on both entries. I really want to get back up to 9.2 on Best Photo and it ends in a few days! Well I had an amazing morning ;) I'm sure the rest of the day will be the same since this morning has been fantastic. It's still snowing. Mingo just left for work. His unit has started to encourage donating to charities, which I greatly agree on. Mingo asked me this morning which charity are we representing for the party tomorrow and which one he should report to the unit. I told him he should know that already, the Wounded Warriors Project. Lol. I am very excited his unit is doing this. Well, I'm starving so I am going to get off here for a bit. Be back soon.

Voted back 8 days with no comment by voted for me. Everyone RETURN! It has been one hell of a 24 hours. I couldn't sleep last night because my shoulder has been acting up and my hubby was up with me all night. I refused to go to the ER but if it happens again I will have to to get another sling. I really hope not. I only got an hour of sleep today, because once I fell asleep the fire alarm went off. Mingo wasn't home and I went in a panic. And, it turned out to be a false alarm. Bastards! Made me wake up like that and barge though my front door like some invisable woman...for nothing. I worked on more college stuff today and I am ahead of schedule. I have a 4.0 in all my classes!!! I am so stoked!!! I knew I was doing good but I didn't know it was perfect. I thought I would update everyone what's been going on. I had my ups and downs today from the fire alarm, shoulder, and school grades being released. Have a great evening Sugarlooters!!!

I was surprised to see it back where it use to be before I got downvoted all the way to the fourth page. THANK YOU DAILIES!!! I will be signing off on here soon because I am cracking down on the books again today. I want to get 3 weeks worth of assignments done ahead of time just in case we start moving soon. We are just waiting on the closing paperwork. I hope everyone has a great day and thank you again for supporting my entries!!!

I have a meeting with one of my teachers who wants to place me as part of the committee of "Healthy Homecoming" that supports veterans in civilian life. Wish me luck on that. I am nervous about that one since she is the founder over this organization and chair woman who works on this program from D.C. While I am gone, everyone please return my votes on mainly Best Photo. Yesterday I was in second with 9.1. I dropped down to 8.0 within a few hours, and I am slowly working my way back up.

I am busy spending time with my husband even though we are helping a friend move, working in closing on our house, I am working on school and getting my license at a different school, and the Red Cross wants me to teach a class this weekend dealing with giving First Aid to disaster victims. The class is already full which means I will be working with over 200 people easy with a few volunteers at the Red Cross to help. Got to go, just came on real quick before I had to get more things done.

I have noticed alot of people blogging lately so I decided to try it out. Consider this my first blog! As most of you know, even though I my profile says I am online that doesn't mean that I am. I am on and off all day, especially with my husband being home. But, I have been watching the Talent Contest and how it has become nothing but a blood bath. People not even in the contest are starting drama over it. And, there isn't even that many people in this contest. Insane. Well, I have been busy packing more courses in my workload for college. Alot of people have asked me where I will be using the rencent scholarship I recieved. I am currently attending AMU and will be recieving my degree in counter terrorism within the next year. I have also started attending a local school, only online though, to start working on my real estate license. In Colorado you have to work under someone with an employing broker license until you can work independantly in real estate. So I better start cracking down now. It will only take me one month tops to complete this since I already have gone over the course work and understand most of it. Thank goodness it is work at your own pace because I hate classes dragging out. Oh! Nearly forgot. Everyone look out for my Best Photo contest! I entered it for my husband and I am really excited about it. His weapon hit his camera while it was in his pocket in Iraq so he has been borrowing the one he bought me for my birthday. It would be nice to replace his broken one. :) I have alot of stuff to get done today and it is after lunch so I can finally make some phone calls. I tell ya, getting a house is time consuming and at times aggrevating. TTYL!

Can you please pray for me?
I went to the drs today for what I thought was fluid build up but it turns out I have Chronic Venous Insuffiency which is a disease of the veins. Dr Patel told me my feet and legs will be swollen for the rest of my life. The blood goes down the veins but the blood and blood cells dont go up which is whats causing my feet and legs to be swollen. There is no medicine for this.
Im having tests done on my heart,liver and kidneys to rule out any problems on Wednesday. Im also having blood work done on Wednesday.
I will keep you posted as I find out more. Thank You for your prayers. Have a lovely evening!
