The "best of everything" to me is having happiness in my life, which is brought by my family and friends. Without them, I don't think I'd be who I am today.
They are the best things in my life right now that can't be bought. Besides the Jonas Brothers. =]

The best of everything for me is my boyfriend Chris of 28 months. He is the best friend I will ever have and someone who knows me better than myself. We often say the same thing at the same time and I always feel like the luckiest girl in the world every time I think about him :]

Can I just point out that the picture in this blog is a little ridiculous. I'm assuming it was a joke lol.

I realized something though with tanning. It's stupid, because all you are doing is screaming "I WANT CANCER". I used to be sensitive about how amazingly pale I am because my mom is from London, but then I realized I never ever get acne or pimples and I won't get cancer :P


&& then just trying to fake it makes you look stupid xD

&i agree about tanning..im really pale but i like myself better that way..its healthy and natural and a huge plus is that you never look orange aha

there are hardly any updates on the blog, hardly any new contests, or contests for that matter, & the 'daily' poll stays up for over a week.

The first acting contest back in the summer of 07 had so many girls Sugarloot could hardly handle them. It was a contest about "The Clique" filled with tons of cliques voting for one another. Many of those girls have waited and waited for another acting contest or just left. Zoey Dean had the opportunity to act in it, but was not the same. The acting contest gave all the girls an opportunity to participate. Not everyone is a stellar actress, but most everyone will take a shot at a monologue in hopes that they may capture the magic of that character. I would love to see these girls given that opportunity again. It's time Sugarloot. We will be patient and wait on the beginning of summer, but please put something together for us. You won't be dissapointed in the numbers of girls that participate.

yeah i always like watch ppl acting or singing.... but i only enter if its for the worst lol...

im sure its really hard to put something like that together though, because many talent agents aren't open to letting the general public audition, which i've known from experience.

ive made ALOT of suggestions even for contests i wouldnt enter just something fun for a change, we keep getting cutest pet, hottest girl, hottest guy... we need something like WOAH lol.. even if its dumb i wish there was a best poetry contest, like make a video of yourself reading a poem you wrote, Now that would be pretty cool, i would defintley enter just to hear what ppl thought about my poem.

Cassey- we've been here for a long time, there's usually as many as Emma said up. theres a lot less

same here. i use to make so many suggestions that i would send in to sugarloot. but there were all pretty much ignored it seems. idk, maybe it's just me. but yeah.

also, is anyone else sick of people winning contests just because they go all out on the daily 10's, downvote, bribe people for votes and whatnot? and i'm not just saying that because i haven't won. in fact, i haven't even entered a contest in quite a while.
like i just find it annoying that some undeserving pictures are always the winner just because of the daily 10's and whatnot and everyone knows what i'm talking about too when i say that.

maybe it's just me who feels like this. who knows.

Ashlie the prize doesn't have to be an audition for a movie. I realize you need an agent to really be successful with movie audtions. The prize could simply be for a short (few days) Acting workshop in LA or NY. Many other suggestions have been made. Of course an opportunity to audition for something would be wonderful and would inspire everyone, but there are so many other prizes that would be exciting.

...and as far as the number of contests right now. The country is in a Recession right now. I have been very suprised actually that they have had the amount of prizes and contests that they have. Although the more people who are laid off work, the more who are home on the internet. Might mean more people looking to win prizes.

I dont think the recession has anything to do with it, because companies want to promote their products as much as they can so they can get more buyers. economics :P

Ashlie just for an example: Nascar is completely run on sponsorship by companies wanting their names displayed on the cars and clothing/apparel etc. Their wont be as many cars running this year because they cannot get sponsors for cars this year. If your company if not making money you also cut back on advertising.

LO- i know what you mean by pictures deserving not to win and winning anyway.. i mean i could defintley BE ONE OF THOSE WHO WON AND MAYBE MY PICTURE TOTTALY SUCKED... but like someone told me sugarloot has become a game you ask for 10s you get them, you give 10s you get them.... I mean defintley will say I think i deserved the tattoo contest IN MY EYES that is. maybe not to someone people but my tattoo defintley has more meaning than any one could imagaine... the only way to make sugarloot NOT A GAME.. is to have one contest per month... if u want to enter it then enter it, but we would all be voting for people IN THE SAME CONTEST, so the winner defintley would have to be the one with the best photo you know what im saying?... I MEAN ive defintley had alot of people get mad at me for winning calling me a cheater a bot, but like i said its just like a game. But if their was one contest at a time, i think it would be a whole lot differnt...thats just my opipion, also... even tho ppl get mad at me for winning sometimes Im never a sore loser i never complain if i lose, because I tried. but on this makeup contest im in ill give out a few dailys but really im just kicking back sometimes i give ppl 10s and i wont even tell them, just because in a way i dont want to try to win, i mean yeah it would be great but i just hate when ppl complain about me i dont want to be a contest hogger or whatever, i only enter contests I like... or else i would be in all the contests. but maybe surgarloot should make it where theres like only a guy contest, and a girl contest like 2 contests or something, I was looking at winners from along time ago and they were winning with like 8.9's and now its like 9.5's and 9.6 like i said i think its become a game but i cant say that its not worth giving it a shot if this is how its gonna be.

Ruth, girls do get frustrated with you winning so much, heck I am sure they have gotten frustrated now with me winning several. It does always seem like the same people always cover the leaderboard. What that tells me after having voted with all those people every day is that those people work harder than anyone on here. Thats just the bottom line. The teens worked just as hard back during the clique contest. they would have 100 girls on their page they were voting with. They just have not had the passion in a contest to go after it that hard again. Teens do have a ton of activites along with school that they cannot put more than 2 or 3 hours into voting a day. They get frustrated with not being able to compete and thats why comments have been made regarding you (Ruth) or me having won too many contests. I could show them a few profiles of people who have won a page full. lol. But it is contest which in all reality is a game. Have fun with it, but nobody is life is gonna sit back and hand you favors. You have to work to win. Thats why I want the teen contest. The girls would have exactly the contest they have been hoping for and feel like they stand a chance in winning. :-)

I dont think you can restrict a 'teen' acting contest too much, because a lot of people on this site lie about their age anyway.

what about the 1O-12 year olds that say they're 14?

Like honestly, i dont think it really even matters anymore is who won or lost. It really depends on the entry. If it's a deserving entry, well it should obviously win, but most of them don't.
I mean c'mon, your guys who said SugarLoot is like a game, are right. It IS like a game and I mean we joined SugarLoot to win prizes and whatnot but we're also playing along in this game too. As much as i hate to admit it, that game isn't really going to change and we're gonna be stuck with bribes and daily 10's for quite some time until they find a new system - that is, IF they ever find a new way to do this whole voting thing.

and most likely, they won't. but you know, were just gonna have to deal. like people aren't gonna change their ways now so i guess we might as well just stop worrying about it.

PS. i think we need like a chatroom or something so its easier to talk over these things. Or a "Make your own discussion board."

I think its a good introduction to reality for some people. Not everyone wins, and sometimes the least deserving win. Life is a game, and people need to grow up and realize that.

&& stop complaining about it. Because if you cant handle this, how are you going to handle life, eh ?

The adults get the hot girl contest
over and over.
Many feel the contests are just too impossible

idk. i was out of town all weekend at camp and from the looks of it she re-entered on the 31 and then the 1st. not sure why. then yesterday her account was gone. i was logged out all weekend so my mom could get on and vote my friends so if she left me a note, the note was errased when she was deleted. have to just wait and see. she was excited about her entry on Friday and had no complaints what so ev so I don't see why all this took place.

they really should talk to the accused first...
